Dewayne Ullsperger, Nebraska ’82

- During his undergraduate years, Brother Ullsperger held leadership positions within his chapter, excelled academically, and received Acacia’s prestigious Roy C. Clark outstanding undergraduate award. That pattern of accomplishment has continued throughout his professional and personal life.
- After serving as managing partner of an actuarial consulting firm, Brother Ullsperger joined United Health Group, an insurance firm that supports the health and wellness of 70 million Americans. Dewayne remained active with Acacia at the chapter and international level while he advanced his career.
- "I became involved with the New Century Campaign at the 100th anniversary Conclave in 2004," remembers Ullsperger, "After hearing a presentation about Acacia’s Rising to the Challenge strategic plan, I made a commitment to join the Foundation Board of Directors and support the campaign financially." One of the top donors in the earliest stage of the campaign, Brother Ullsperger is already approaching the halfway point of his $100,000 pledge.
- The Cornerstones program has increased Brother Ullsperger’s enthusiasm. "The direction the Fraternity has taken with Cornerstones will create a strong foundation for young Acacians to pursue success as leaders and students. Acacia is creating an experience in today’s context very much like the fraternity experience I joined twenty-five years ago. This effort deserves our support."
