The Acacia Fraternity Foundation

The Acacia Fraternity Foundation (AFF), founded in 1989, is Acacia Fraternity's non-profit educational foundation. A 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, the AFF exists to provide scholarships to student Acacians and to support the worthy educational and leadership activities of the fraternity.

The goal of the Acacia Fraternity Foundation is to ensure that the Fraternity realizes its vision of providing training, support and guidance to every undergraduate member. One of the most valuable and enduring ways you can demonstrate your support for Acacia is by contributing to the Annual Fund. You may also support specific programs, support your chapter, or leave a planned gift.

Approximately two-thirds of the Fraternity's expenses can be supported through educational grants from the Foundation. Your continuing support ensures that the spirit of Acacia lives on through future generations. Gifts made to the AFF to support educational initiatives are tax-deductible.

The return of the Thermometer – fiscal year-end challenge

In the Anniversary Crest of May 12th, the thermometer returned as we track our end-of-the-year push to meet our budgetary goals. Today, The Foundation finds itself $60,160 shy of meeting our funding objectives. If you have yet to make a gift for 2024-25 or find yourself in a position to make an additional gift, we look for your support - help us turn the thermometer Gold and visit our giving page at acacia.org/donate where you can Venmo, PayPal, or donate by credit card.

You are a vital part of our mission to preserve and celebrate the epic story of THE Acacia Fraternity. To fully fund our educational and programming obligations each year, the Foundation must raise over $400,000 in unrestricted (Exceptional Fund) dollars. Approximately one-third of the Fraternity's budget can be underwritten by grants from the Foundation, which lessens the burden of costs associated with undergraduate dues.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Brother Daniel (Danny) R. Lang, Northwestern '59, for his generous support once again this year. For the third consecutive year, Brother Lang has kindly offered to match all donations dollar for dollar, up to $100,000, for gifts directed to the Exceptional (Annual), Directors' Discretion, and/or the Euclid Fund until June 30th. This matching gift presents a unique opportunity to amplify the impact of your generosity.
